My Life in Pictures (Since My Computer Got Stolen in December and All My Pictures Were Taken Along With It)

Haha, sorry that was an obnoxious title… but I realized I couldn’t honestly say it was my life in pictures. There are several pictures from my childhood that I need to convert into digital files that will not be on here, as well as several that got lost forever when my computer was stolen. Children, let this be a lesson to all of us to PURCHASE AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE!!

Nevertheless, I thought it would be fun to post some of the pictures I’m most thankful for that I still have. Some will be of friends or family, some will just be favorite pictures that I think look cool. Either way, I’m thankful for them and want to share!

Emily Hearn

Finally!!! About a month and a half ago, Joel and I went to Athens to listen to his brother Justin play a concert at Joel’s old house. Justin, as always, was incredible. But he told us to stick around for a little bit to at least hear a song or two of the “headliner” of the evening, Emily Hearn.

Thank goodness he did.

This girl is incredible! She performed Jolene like I’ve never heard it before (even though hers sounded more like this version).

I tried to find her on YouTube after the concert but never could. I gave it another shot tonight when I was thinking about it and she has posted a video!!! And of course, I had to share it. While lyrically it’s not my favorite, her voice is seriously the best I have ever heard live.

So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Emily Hearn…

(the video quality is not the best, but pretty awesome when you consider it was made by a freshman in college, probably using a flip camera!)
