Shake Date

I am thankful for the milkshake Joel bought me at Chick-fil-A. It was strawberry  and he got chocolate. It was a date. Dates are fun.

My Generous Brand

In light of the current economic state, several businesses are starting to win customers by giving away things (i.e. Morelli’s). And those businesses that aren’t being as generous are being advised to start. Now.

I have a feeling that this must be hard for several businesses. Not only are times tough for them too, but they are not used to the mindset of generosity.

It is at this point that I have to stop and say a quick prayer of thanks that I work for such a generous company. Ever since Chick-fil-A began, the Cathy’s have been more than generous with their time and money. This mindset of generosity has trickled down to every store. Almost every day, we have a local store giving something away. And we were doing that long before the economy went sour. It’s such a blessing to work for a company where generosity is ingrained in the very fabric of the day-to-day business life. As corny as it may sound, I am incredibly proud to work for Chick-fil-A.
