I have a 1.5 hour drive one-way every single workday. I have to leave my house at 6:45 a.m. I am not a morning person.
These three statements should make it very clear why I have to have my morning coffee.
So, the first thing on my wedding registry was the Keurig Single Cup Coffee Machine - it is a miracle worker. Each morning, all I have to do to prepare my cup of coffee is stick a little K-cup in the machine and press the blue button to begin. Then, I’m on my way.
Well Keurig produces several K-cup choices for your coffee-drinking pleasure. For the first two months I made the commute, I was experimenting with as many coffee blends as you could find: Green Mountain Coffee, the Donut House, Gloria Jean’s, Tully’s, Emeril’s, Newman’s Own, etc. Most of them were just not the right fit.
But then, last week I came across the winner: Caribou Coffee, medium blend. It’s delicious with a couple teaspoons of white chocolate mocha creamer. Mmmmmmmm!
It was a remarkable moment. Now, I wake up every day, knowing I can count on my friends to get me through the morning… and those who know me well know that is no small task.
