Dear, Dear Friends

When I traveled to Spain last year to study abroad (I can’t believe that was a year ago!), I met two dear, kindred spirits. Sarah Beth and Leah! We knew we would be good friends from the moment we met, and my love for them has grown exponentially as I’ve gotten to know them more.

These girls are phenomenal. Not only are they hilarious, compassionate and downright cool, they’re also strong women of God. Some of my sweetest memories from Spain are the times when we got to have a deep conversation over a cup of cafe con leche or when we spent a long bus ride together. Either way, my times with them were definitely among my favorites. (Check out some of these pictures from Spain…)

Well imagine my utter joy when I realized they were both going to be in Atlanta this summer! So last week, we got together, along with two other girls, Katie and MeriBeth, and had the best time together. We got to spend the time sharing stories and encouraging each other. It didn’t take long for us to realize that we’d stumbled across something special.

So we’ve made plans to meet weekly to get together and share stories and pray. I’m so thankful that God brought us together and so excited to get to spend time with these incredible girls every week!!!
